The candle market today is crowded by low-quality, mass-produced brands. Product names are designed solely to sound "nice", descriptions are vague, and there's rarely any indication of scent strength or how you might like a fragrance given your unique personality, mood and space. Everything promises to smell beautiful and be made with "non-toxic" ingredients — but very little helps you decide what’s actually right for you and what's actually good value for money. That's where we come in.

As a Harvard MBA, a passionate creative, and a long-term lover of fragrance, Jackie set out to simplify a much-loved market. She grew up concocting her own room-mists using the lavender from her back garden and distilling it in kitchen pots with hot water (the scent throw was not great). As an adult, after nearly a decade spent in consulting & marketing she knew she wanted to revisit her passion in a meaningful way, bringing high-quality, fair value fragrances to people's homes in a fun and easy way.
